Stephanie grew up on the coast of North Carolina, just a few minutes away from Wrightsville beach. She and her brother would get on their bikes and ride to the end of her street to fish every day after school in the 90s. In high school she joined the surf club and they would all go sunrise surfing before heading to school. Many of her works are inspired by the intercostal waterway.
