Growing up on the marsh of Pages Creek in the coastal town of Wilmington, North Carolina, Stephanie Bagwell had a unique childhood in the 90s. Living across from the marsh, her days after school consisted of fishing, clam digging, and exploring the waters with her brother. Later in her teens she began surfing on Wrightsville Beach and discovered new aspects of coastal life. Now as a mother, she realizes how special her muddy childhood really was and has dedicated this series to those formative years.
