She began her art career as a painting instructor over ten years ago and you can still find her teaching adult art classes in Wilmington. When she's not teaching or working on commissions, she's likely on scaffolding creating murals for the local community. Her murals can be seen at notable locations such as the Children's Museum of Wilmington as well as Novant Health's Cancer Treatment Center.
She has had the honor of working alongside organizations and publications such as the Cameron Art Museum, Dreams Center of Arts Education, Wilmington's Book on Business. In 2026 she was awarded with first place in 2-D for Wilmington Art Association's Spring Art show for the 20x30" oil painting titled "Before Her Wrath"

"My inspiration usually comes from stories and memories that are deeply personal. I grew up on the coast, so naturally the ocean is a huge part of my identity. I am also a mother and I'm very spiritual, I believe in the healing abilities of art, not just for the creator but also for the viewer."
"In a world full of consumers, be a creator"
